Belinda, raised with her brother in the northeast neighborhood of Deanwood in Washington, DC was greatly inspired by her dad, a carpenter and real estate investor who used his skills to buy, rehab, and hold properties as rentals in the DC metropolitan area. This impressed upon her that a plan, focus, and persistence is paramount to success. As a young adult, she obtained an advanced degree in Biology and pursued a career as a Biologist in a research lab and later as a Health Science Administrator in the Federal Government. During her 20+ years of federal service she worked cooperatively with diverse individuals from around the world, developed persistence in working through difficult problems and situations, and established professionalism and accountability. Reflecting on her father’s legacy in real estate, in 2009 she became a licensed Realtor in Maryland. And, through a combination of education and implementation, she launched a successful career in real estate. Initially working with buyers, she skillfully guided novice and move up buyers through the maze of the home purchasing process to ultimately make a solid purchase given their lifestyle and budget. As she continued to grow in the business, she obtained expertise in helping Sellers in a variety of life transitions get their homes sold. Over the years, Belinda has gained experience in short sales, pre-foreclosures, investor criteria for purchase, creative financing and purchasing techniques, and estate sales with a specific emphasis on helping Executors dealing with real estate going through the probate process. Belinda’s breadth of experience has been instrumental as she has transitioned into working with and serving as advisor and marketing expert to Sellers in the mid $400K - $800K luxury market. She actively employs targeted marketing techniques that specifically seek out buyers most likely to pay a premium for the Seller’s specific property whether it is a primary residence, second home, estate sale, or investment property. Belinda has raised two adult sons and continues to live in Maryland with her husband and two dogs, Blu and Jayda. In her spare time, she enjoys quiet activities –reading, watching documentaries and nature programs, and spending time with family. Areas Served: Belinda primarily works throughout Laurel, Maryland and the surrounding areas. Laurel is a tri-county city which includes areas of Prince George's, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties. She works in various cities within those counties, inclusive of, but not limited to Elkridge, Columbia, Odenton, Severn, Bowie, and Beltsville. Belinda also services a range of cities throughout Prince George's County including the cities of Lanham, District Heights, Largo, and Upper Marlboro and extends into areas of Montgomery County including Burtonsville, Silver Spring, and Wheaton in Maryland.
