Barbara Lee Young, PLMC™ Certified Real Estate Agent                  

Barbara Lee Young is an Associate Broker of general and new home sales for Atlanta Communities, and is an active member of the Cherokee Association of Realtors where she has served as both Local and State Director to GAR. She holds a BS in Business from the University of Maryland and is  an ACE-certified personal trainer. She is also a retired executive from IBM, where she acted as the Executive Manager of Worldwide Product Assurance.

Barbara has over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry and has worked with several of the top brokerages nation-wide, including RE/MAX where she received several accolades including the  Executive and President's Clubs She has extensive experience in new construction, first time home buyers, as well as elite luxury property sales. In her spare time, Barbara is the Treasurer of the Building Committee at her church, and is an active member of her community. She has 4 children who have followed their passions in the business and medical fields, and 2 wonderful grandsons who she loves to spend time with. Barbara really enjoys family ski vacations, but admits that her hobbies now include serving on real estate boards and committees.
